Review: Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation

This Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation is a Full Coverage and Oil Free Foundation.

Lets get into the details:

MY Color: Light Medium Sand (On the darker of the light and more olive tone side)

Price: $38. Pricey but cheaper than my other holy grail foundation, Nars Sheer Glow foundation. Worth the price though definitely

Product: Thick and creamy consistency. Blends very well (I use a beauty blender to apply). Amazing coverage, definitely lives up to its full coverage label. Lasts very long, I would say over 12 hours. Finish is matte but has a beautiful natural like finish.

Usage: For beauty blender, squeeze a dime size amount on to the back of hand. Take finger and dip into product, dotting product around the face. Take beauty blender and begin to blend in the product.

  • LOVE this product. Favorite foundation hands down.
  • Looks so beautiful and natural in person and photographs.
  • Looks FLAWLESS.
  • Received endless compliments while wearing this foundation.
  • Feels light even though has a thicker consistency.
  • Worth the price
What did you guys think about this foundation?

I'm in love.

Review: Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade

Anastasia has recently released their brand new eyebrow product, the Dip Brow Pomade.

Initially, I was disappointed at the color selection. The display claims that they will be bringing in new colors soon. The blonde was a little too light but the next up was dark brown which was wayyy too dark for me.

Heres a picture of my brow after using the Dip Brow. COLOR: Blonde
Also used Anastasia Brow Pencil in Soft Brown for fill in.

PRICE: $20. It is pretty good for the product quality and amount, especially compared to some other top brands.

PRODUCT: Love the pomade. Makes brows look super clean and sculpted. Easy to shape brows with if used with angled brow brush.

USAGE: Dip angled brow brush into product. Outline the bottom from the nose outwards. Continue to fill in the brow starting from the end. Lightly fill in the front of the brow in order to create an ombre effect.

THOUGHTS: Love the product but the color is not right for me. The image is after i mix it a little bit with the brow pencil in soft brown. Wish they had a color between blonde and dark brown such as soft brown!

Overall, love the product and easy to use but NEED a better color match!

Review: Maybelline Baby Skin - Pore Eraser

Maybelline recently released its new and raved about product: Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. Everyone was hoping this would be a much cheaper Benefit's POREfessional dupe, which goes for $32. I love the Baby Lips line, so I knew I NEEDED to try this baby. Saw it at target and didn't hesitate to put it in my bag. Had to try it out!

It claims to instantly reduce the size of pores. Here's my experience:

PRICE: Cheap cheap cheap. Around $5. LOVE THE PRICE!

PRODUCT: Instant pore eraser; silicone like feel almost like a primer, but very greasy feeling

PACKAGING: Cute!

USAGE: Apply to areas with large pores.

THOUGHTS: Not a product I would use or repurchase. It feels very greasy on my skin and I feel that my makeup slips and slides when I apply foundation after I've already applied the baby skin. As for doing what it says it will, erase pores, I think it does a pretty good job, although the greasiness cancels out the benefits for me.

All in all, I'll stick with benefit's Porefessional. Too greasy for me.
